POWDER BROWS
Ombre powder brows, also known as microshading or ombre brows, is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo technique that uses a machine or handheld tool to implant tiny dots of pigment into the skin to create a shaded effect on the eyebrows. The result is a soft, powdered look that's similar to filling in brows with powder, but without the need for daily makeup application. The gradient effect starts lighter at the front of the brow and gradually becomes darker towards the tail, mimicking the natural growth of eyebrow hairs. Ombre powder brows can be customized to create a variety of looks, from subtle and natural to bold and dramatic. For example, an angled front can create a softer, more defined aesthetic by bringing the bottom of the brow line out slightly more than the top. Ombre powder brows can last anywhere from 2-3 years depending on how well you follow aftercare.
Aftercare instructions include:
- Avoiding working out or sweating a lot
- Not touching or peeling off scabs
- Avoiding makeup around the brows for at least 12–14 days
- Avoiding heavy sun exposure
- Avoiding facial treatments during the healing process
- Avoiding long and hot showers
- Avoiding washing your brows extensively
