COMBINATION BROWS
Combination brows combines microblading and powder brows (shading) to create fuller, more defined eyebrows with a natural look. The technique involves using a manual tool to create hair-like strokes from the beginning to the middle of the brow, then using a machine to shade the rest of the brow with powder. Combination brows are a good option for people who want to add definition to their eyebrows, or who have sparse eyebrows or little to no hair. They're also well-suited for normal and combination skin types.
Combo brows are a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure that can last between 2–5 years, depending on a number of factors:
- Skin type: Oily skin can break down pigments faster, while drier skin may fade more slowly.
- Lifestyle: Tanning, using chemical peels, or using products with AHA or Glycolic Acid can cause the brows to fade faster.
- Care: How well you care for your brows can affect how long they last. Aftercare tips include washing the area twice a day with an astringent, avoiding water and colorful pigments, and using hypoallergenic skincare products.
- Touch-ups: Some recommend getting yearly touch-ups to keep the color fresh.
